Actress Marion Cotillard was born on September 30, 1975 in Paris. She was raised in Orléans, France and she made her acting debut as a child with a role in one of her father’s plays.
Her first Hollywood movie was Big Fish in 2003, in which she played the role of Joséphine- wife of William Bloom.
She played her first leading role in the American movie The Immigrant- 2013- in which she played Ewa Cybulska, a Polish immigrant who wants to experience the American dream.
Her upcoming film is Allied, directed by Robert Zemeckis where she plays Marianne Beausejour. Marion Cotillard was cast in the film to play a spy assassin along with Pitt who fall in love with each other during a mission to kill a German official.
According to the film’s producer, Graham King: “Brad and Marion immediately had the utmost respect for each other, so once they delved into their characters, their chemistry was electric”.
The 40-year-old French star is in a relationship with fellow actor Guillaume Canet, 43 and she ‘angrily denies’ rumours of an affair with Brad Pitt. The couple has one child and are expecting their second one, rumors say.
